The Friends of the Library Book Store

Doors open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

About the Book Store

Our principal fund-raising activity is the used bookstore located in the Library’s lobby. It is staffed by volunteers and all proceeds help support the Library.

Every book, movie, audio book and CD has been donated by the community. No donations are considered trash.  We partner with a charity that recycles what we are unable to sell.

Our volunteers shelve “gently used” books by category: fiction, mystery, history, biography, social science, reference, science fiction, western, large print, humor, health, religion, cooking, crafts, sports, art and more!

Rare books are located in the display cases.  These books are typically priced at 40% of the on-line asking price.

1/2 Price Sale

The third Saturday of each month is “Half-Price Day.”  Everything in the store, including the collectibles, is sold for half of the marked price. Shoppers can purchase popular romance novels and movies on tape for as little 12 1/2¢ each.
