The annual “Be a Library Sweetheart” magazine drive is held throughout the month of February. Patrons may select a magazine from the Library’s list and donate the cost of that magazine, or make a contribution of any amount. A list of magazines and the cost of each is available in the Friends book store. Due to space limitations, the Library requests that only magazines on the list be chosen. For more information, call the book store at 292-0540.
The Jingle Bell Classic is held every year in December and starts in the park across from the Library. Proceeds benefit the Library’s Youth Services Department allowing for exceptional resources and programming for kids of all ages.
Here is your opportunity to give pleasure to others while preserving the memory of a special person or honoring someone you admire. Through the Friends of the Winter Haven Public Library, Inc., you can establish a perpetual Book Endowment, or donate the cost of a single volume.
